Creative agency Eleven is debuting a new campaign where pro surfer Jamie O’Brien will surf a fiberglass window from window and door manufacturer Pella demonstrating how well it holds up (even against crashing waves and gnarly shredding.)

Both Jamie O’Brien and Pella will be sharing video content on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube as well as Pella’s website. The video series tells the story of the journey from Pella making the window board (or is it a surf window?) to O’Brien’s unboxing, to the actual surf test.

“Honestly, I always wanted to ride a window. I just didn’t know where to start or if it was even possible-but I knew I had to try at least once in my life. Being able to team up with Pella Windows and Doors was a dream come true! Proving that these windows are tough by putting them through some intense Pacific Ocean elements really blew my mind! Grateful to finally check this off of my bucket list!” said Jamie O’Brien.

“When Pella asked us to demonstrate the durability of Impervia fiberglass in a way that captured viewers' attention, we wanted to go beyond the normal product demonstration. We know we wanted to make it fun and extreme, so working with Jamie O’Brien was the perfect match.” adds Jack Harding, Creative Director, Eleven

“In today’s media landscape, especially when you think about occasional purchases like windows, it pays when brands behave differently. In no way does this get made without holistic, integrated agency teams, along with incredible clients like Pella, ready and willing to take risks and have some fun.” states Stephanie Lackey, Media Director, MediaCom.
