Prime video uses drones to create Staraoke for new movie release
The unique user experience reached out to the stars in Rome.
Prime Video and Ogilvy Italy create a unique user experience under the sky above Rome to launch the new Original movie Laura Pausini - Piacere di conoscerti, available on Prime Video now.
To do so, Amazon Prime Video and Ogilvy Italy left the stage to her fans’ voice. On April 6, in the sky above Rome, 500 drones flew over the Colosseum’s Archaeological Park, reaching 100m height and creating a unique show.
The drones synchronised with Scatola, the original film song, to create a karaoke show all over the city, making the sky the biggest karaoke screen ever, with lyrics stretching 130m large and 60m tall. 2000 fans were invited to sing along with Laura Pausini for a once in a lifetime singalong.
The experience, which combined the latest trend technology with a unique cultural environment, was created after more than 3 weeks of programming by Roman innovation agency, T3kne, in collaboration with Artech and Dronisos, a French agency specialised in automatised drones' technology.
