Porsche Awards is gearing up for 2022
Advertising award for young talent opens for 2022 edition submissions.
The race is on for the Porsche Awards – for young talents in advertising.
Students and young professionals who have not been working in the industry longer than two years can now submit their advertising films for the eighteenth edition of the competition. Entries can be submitted online through the Porsche Awards website until 31 December 2021.
As usual, an international jury of experts will then view all the submissions from around the world and nominate twelve advertising films for the shortlist. The Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg as the organiser and Porsche AG as the main sponsor are looking forward to welcoming the creators of the nominated films to the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg for the formal award ceremony on 24 May 2022.
Films can be submitted in three award categories:
Category 1: Short Advertising Content
Alternative advertising (film) formats and classic advertising spots up to 60 seconds. These alternative formats include viral spots, films and campaigns for social networks or for smartphones, interactive formats and apps. Trailers, virtual/augmented reality projects, experimental projects, documentary advertising film spots, mockumentaries, branded events, showcases, games, etc., can also be submitted in this category.
Category 2: Long Advertising Content
This is the category for branded shorts and short films with an advertising background that bring to life the brand essence, product statements or company philosophies. Possible formats, up to a maximum of 20 minutes, include: short films with advertising/communication message, branded entertainment projects (branded short, branded event, branded game, etc.), documentary advertising film formats, mockumentaries, films and campaigns for social networks or for smartphones, interactive formats and apps. These include: TV, cinema and online spots, viral spots, social spots, films and campaigns for social networks or for smartphones, interactive formats and apps.
