Porsche Awards 2024 winners announced
The winners of the 20th Porsche Awards have been announced. The international advertising film prize was awarded in Ludwigsburg, Germany last week.
On Thursday, 11th April 2024, the Porsche Awards were presented for the 20th and final time.
At a festive awards ceremony in the Albrecht Ade Studio of Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg (FABW), the jury members announced the award-winning advertising films in front of industry guests and the nominated filmmakers. From 148 entries from 21 countries, the independent international jury of experts selected one winner in each of the three award categories Short Advertising Content, Long Advertising Content and Driven by Dreams.
In the end, three entries from Germany were selected, two of which were FABW productions. The three successful teams each received a trophy and prize money of €4,911 , which is a nod to the iconic Porsche 911 sports car. The evening was hosted by well-known journalist and presenter Kimsy von Reischach.

In the Short Advertising Content category, the jury chose the film Deichmann: Mothersday 2023 - REMIX, an original and contemporary tribute to motherhood. The jury was particularly impressed by the film team's courage to breathe new life into the advertised brand through an innovative approach and thus potentially open up new customer groups. They also praised the outstanding casting and the witty, unpretentious style of the film.
In the Long Advertising Content category, the award went to LG: Delivery For Mr. Frogula. In this animated advertising film, an amphibious version of Count Dracula is doomed by the delivery of a Smart TV. The jury's verdict: "Everything about this production captivates with the greatest precision: the dialogue, music, animation, the wonderful humour. The film impresses with its astonishing attention to detail. You want to watch it again and again."
The team from NgK (Nummer gegen Kummer e.V.): UNSEEN - Parent Helpline was delighted to receive prize money and a trophy in the third category, Driven by Dreams. The social advert draws attention to the loneliness of children who grow up in an apathetic or overburdened parental home. "This emotional film will stay in your memory for a long time. It boasts excellent casting and many subtle ideas, such as a faceless mother. The story is consistently told from the perspective of the child and therefore also acts as a wake-up call to the parents," said the jury.
