Polartropica asks What’s Your Fantasy?

A hypnotic adventure into Wonderland with a dark and bloodthirsty twist sets the stage for LA indie artist Polartropica’s new music video for What’s Your Fantasy, directed by Vanessa Marzaroli. 

The journey into a romantic dream world explores the power of the mind to conjure fantasy, echoing the tone and lyrics of the ethereal, synth-driven track. Inspired by a goth-fairy vampire aesthetic, the music video is a loving tribute and homage to the iconic fashion and legacy of the LA queer, trans community.

Mirada's Marzaroli contributed her distinct and elegant visual style to the project, also serving as producer, art director, and production designer. The music video features vintage Chinese Opera headdresses, costumes, and set pieces from fashion icon and designer Peter Lai’s personal collection; custom cakes designed and constructed by Helene Abernathy; and set design, creative, and settings by Marzaroli.
