What’s the best promo you’ve seen recently and why?

Childish Gambino This is America.  I’m a sucker for a one-shot video but this one contained a lot of emotion and surprises.

It meant something, while also being technically challenging and aesthetically simple.

And what’s your all-time favourite music video?

I love my uncle Roman Coppola's video he did for The Strokes’ Last Nite song.  Hearing that song for the first time blew me away.  I was a teenager and felt like I finally found my music, my idols.  To top it off my uncle made a dope ass video for them!

How do you feel the promo industry has changed since you started in it?

I’m still getting the hang of it, but I’m excited that the promo world is trying to become more daring and a little weird.

Where do you see the music video industry being in five years’ time?

Maybe fans will be making videos for bands on their own with out the bands...

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people won’t know…

“You’re a big huge nerd” — Autumn Durald.
