Peaky Blinders Director Otto Bathurst Signs To Smuggler

SMUGGLER announced today the signing of Otto Bathurst. SMUGGLER will now be representing the multiple BAFTA winning director internationally. The filmmaker is best known for the huge critical and commercial success Peaky Blinders, a meticulously crafted show that won him his most recent BAFTA for Best Direction in 2014. 

No stranger to advertising, Otto Bathurst’s career in TV was forged in the world of commercial production. Starting as an editor, Otto switched into production with a move to the Paul Weiland Film Company, where he worked as an Assistant Director for three years working on well over 400 commercials before helming his first short film,  A Man’s Best Friend. Prior to Peaky Blinders Otto directed numerous shows, including Criminal Justice, and the cult hit, Black Mirror for Channel 4.
