French-Algerian filmmaker Yann Demange has signed to the roster of Park Pictures

Based in London, Demange is known for his visceral storytelling and dynamic visual style but is also adept at navigating grounded realism and genre-based narratives.

Demange directed the first four episodes of the BAFTA-nominated crime drama Top Boy, and the pilot of HBO’s Lovecraft Country, cementing his reputation for high-impact, character-driven narratives. He has directed feature films White Boy Rick, starring Matthew McConaughey, and ‘71, which is set during The Troubles, and which earned him a British Independent Film Award for Best Director.

Demange has directed award-winning campaigns for brands including Nike, FIFA, Instagram, EA Sports, Johnnie Walker and Meta, applying the same cinematic sensibility and emotional intensity to his commercials as to his features and TV work.

“Yann is a masterful storyteller, whether working in film and television or helming commercial projects," said Executive Producer and Founding Partner of Park Pictures, Jackie Kelman Bisbee. "I’ve been a fan of his for a while, and I’m beyond excited to have him on our roster at Park Pictures.”
