BBH Takes Top Prize at One Show

"The Man Who Walked Around the World" is Best of Show as Gold Pencils are presented for work for Canal +, Old Spice, Viagra, Gatorade and other brands. See below for more photo coverage of the event. 

The One Show took place on Thursday night, May 12, at the newly renovated Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center and both agency and production company folks turned out en masse. The Best of Show honors went to the Johnnie Walker "The Man Who Walked Around the World" film, from BBH London, directed by Jamie Rafn of Helen Langridge Associates.  The film also won a Gold Pencil in the Branded Content Single category.

Other TV, Non-Broadcast and Branded Content Gold Pencils went to the following:

--BETC Euro RSCF, Paris, won two Gold Pencils for "Closet" for Canal +, directed by Matthijs Van Heijningen for Soixan7e Quin5e in the Television: Over :30 Single and Cinema categories.
--TBWA\Chiat\Day, L.A., won two Gold Pencils for its Gatorade "Replay" campaign, directed by Kristopher Belman out of Caviar L.A. in the Branded Content/Campaign and Integrated Branding/Campaign categories.
--TAXI Toronto won a Gold Pencil for its Viagra "Antiquing" spot, directed by the Perlorian Brothers out of Furlined/Soft Citizen in the Television :20 and Under/Single category, while the Viagra "Confessions" campaign won a Gold Pencil in the Television :20 and Under/Campaign category.
--Wieden + Kennedy Portland won a Gold Pencil for its “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” spot directed by Tom Kuntz out of MJZ in the Television :30 Single category, while another spot in that campaign, “Different Scents for Different Gents,” won a Silver Pencil in the same category. 
--Publicis Mojo in Sydney won a Gold Pencil for “Pure Waters,” directed by Steve Rogers out of Revolver in Australia for Lion Nathan in the Commercials of Varying Length/Campaign category.  The same spot also won a Silver Pencil in the Television Over :30 Single category.
