Talent and production powerhouse OB42 is thrilled to announce the appointment of Clancie Brennan to the newly formed role of UK Managing Director/Executive Producer.

This significant milestone follows OB Management’s acquisition by the leading global talent management and production company, 42, and the creation of multi platform storytelling newco OB42.

Brennan joins OB42 at a pivotal moment as the company expands its commercial offerings, driven by the belief that the future of advertising lies in entertainment. OB42’s evolved model allows brands and creative agencies to tap into its unique talent ecosystem, providing unparalleled access to world-class film and TV directors, screenwriters, comedians, novelists and actors, alongside OB42’s award-winning commercial roster and production expertise.

Clancie Brennan’s commitment to nurturing creative talent aligns seamlessly with OB42’s mission to create an inspiring and holistic environment for directors. The company’s growing offering positions OB42 as a home where directors can develop their careers and transition effortlessly across commercials, music, film, and TV.

Brennan joins OB42 from the advertising agency BMB, where she served as Acting Head of TV/Senior Producer since 2020. At BMB, she led creative production and delivery for high-profile clients, including Samsung, Nike, Farrow & Ball, LTA, Kerry Foods, and Breast Cancer Now. Her tenure was marked by award-winning campaigns such as Breast Cancer Now's 'The Chat' and Samsung's 'Micro Miracles,' which garnered accolades at prestigious industry events, including Cannes, LIAs, The Clios, The Sharks, British Arrows, The One Show, and D&AD.

Brennan’s career began as a receptionist/runner at Trevor Robinson OBE's Quiet Storm, and she has since accumulated over two decades of experience in the advertising industry, producing award-winning short films like ‘Early Days’ and ‘Who's the Daddy?’ currently in development as a TV series.

Together, CEO Otis Bell and MD Clancie Brennan aim to redefine the landscape of entertainment-led advertising.

Otis Bell comments: “We’re hugely excited to welcome Clancie as we strengthen this stage of our company’s growth with like-minded creative visionaries. Clancie has an undeniable passion for creating impactful stories and championing talent. Her unrivaled experience across the production, agency, and brand direct landscape makes her the ideal leader to steer OB42 into this next chapter.”

Clancie Brennan adds: “I am incredibly excited to join the team at OB42 and its parent company 42, and look forward to sharing our unrivaled offering with the rest of the industry. OB42 and 42 have a storied history of delivering work for music videos, longform, and commercials, and their combination creates the perfect environment for brands looking to harness A-List talent for their campaigns. This will play a huge role in the future of our ever-evolving industry. With media spend and output constantly changing, entertainment-led advertising is where the future lies. The recent 5-minute spot for Supercell 'Squad Busters’ by Uncommon, along with Starbucks launching their own studios to create branded entertainment are both clear indicators of this industry trend, as traditional ads lose effectiveness”
