Nono directs Cuenta Lo by Biig Piig

From Partizan's Darkroom, Nono co-directs Cuenta Lo with Rodrigo Inada. 

The macabre video accompanies the hypnotic track and sees Biig Piig (real name Jess) in an alternate dark universe mixing with some ominous figures. The promo acts a comment on people’s obsession with fame, money and success. Opening on a poker game her opponents slowly transform to become demonic figures. Jess remains in control as the track progresses, and the world that they’re living in is perfectly imagined by Nono and Rodrigo. 

The repetition within the video aims to represent the greed of the figures and their obsession with chasing money and power.

Speaking about the job, Nono comments: “This was such a beautiful trip. Biig Piig is an amazing artist with a really cool career ahead of her. It was really nice collaborating with her and commissioner Kat Cattaneo on the development of this promo. They allowed and supported us on creating this dark and magical universe. Dream job!”
