Nimiopere Film Editorial promotes Bryan Reuben
Nimiopere Film Editorial promotes Bryan Reuben to editor for representation globally.
Toronto-based editorial company Nimiopere adds Bryan Reuben to its roster.
Reuben has been with Nimiopere since its inception in 2021 and has worked with some of Canada’s top agencies and with brands including SickKids, Google, Budweiser, Youtube and Telus.
“Working alongside high-level creatives commands a certain level of commitment and dedication to the craft – a challenge I could not shy away from,” says Reuben. “I couldn’t be more excited to continue to grow with my Nimiopere family.”
Originally having an interest in audio engineering, Reuben pivoted to editing and discovered his passion for visual storytelling. Sound continues to be an integral part of his process.
Director duo Taylor Reid, whom Reuben frequently works with, had this to say of his signing: “We love working with Bryan. He's an extremely talented editor, but what makes him great is a relentless drive to make every edit better. He studies story structure and approaches each edit from a very intellectual perspective.”
Taylor Reid adds: “What makes Bryan so special is his character. He has an infectious energy that builds up everyone around him. This leads to a very creative environment where people are driven to make each project better together.”
Graham Chisholm, editor and partner at Nimiopere, also comments: "Bryan is a natural with clients, and his passion for storytelling is unmatched, making him a perfect fit for our team. He’s charismatic, kind and truly a wonderful person to be around. I’m so proud of his evolution and excited to see what’s next." Reuben is currently working on a new project with CIBC via agency Courage and recently completed an experimental short film for director Kacper Larski.
