Writer and Director Nicolee Tsin has joined RSA’s EU roster, marking an exciting move for the Hong Kong-born filmmaker.

Known for exploring underrepresented cultures and identities, Tsin brings a unique perspective to RSA's expanding roster of creative talent. Tsin's practice delves into the nuances of culture, identity, and underrepresented communities' experiences. Whether through rich visuals, textures or narratives, her work is infused with sensory memories from her Hong Kong upbringing.

After honing her skills directing music videos for Olivia Dean, Nia Archives, and Jianbo, 2023 saw Nicolee shooting campaigns for Tesco and Debenhams, and a Nike spot starring the Lionesses and Amelia Dimoldenberg. Her short film Home Again for Brick Lane cafe HOKO earned industry praise and accolades including Shots Young Director of the Year Bronze and a Kinsale Shark Award for Best Casting. Publications like Galdem, Booooooom TV, i-D, and Nowness have featured her boundary-pushing work.

"It's surreal joining RSA, an iconic company rooted in masterful storytelling. As a self-taught filmmaker, I value spontaneity but also creative challenges," said Nicolee. "I'm excited to collaborate with Bethany, Chloe and the team who nurture fresh voices. We'll dive deep to create something truly special."

Bethany Papenbrock, RSA Films EU's Managing Director, added, "Nicolee continuously elevates her work through the use of vivid colors, unique casting and clever camera moves, making her films so unique and engaging to watch. We look forward to championing her future projects."

With newly formed divisions and a number of senior hires, and the addition of exciting talents like Tsin joining the roster, RSA is establishing an exciting creative future while enriching its production and creative excellence.
