Fast and effortless. Not necessarily the first words that spring to mind when talking about insurance claims, but Swedish neo insurance company Hedvig is determined to change that. 

They have designed an insurance experience based on how people want to be treated when it comes to insurance matters, which means no more phone queues or paperwork and a product that outrates the competition.

In Hedvig's new mockumentary campaign, we encounter “the Hedvig addicts” who explain, in vivid descriptions, why they are hooked on using their insurance.

"'Insurance you long to use' is not only a humorous way of portraying our service, the statement is also true. Accidents are inevitable, but knowing you’ll get help fast makes it easier to accept and to move on. We believe that insurance shouldn’t just be a necessity – but something that you actually look forward to use when needed", says Evelina Rönnung, Creative Director at Hedvig.

The campaign is created by Hedvig’s creative department, the film is directed by Mathias & Matias and produced by Bacon.

As usual, the directing duo combines cinematic aesthetics with dry wit and the result is an atypical insurance spot with a quirky feel.

Hedvig was launched in Sweden in 2018 and offers home and all-risk insurance. Today the company insures over 50,000 people in Sweden and Norway. Hedvig’s NPS score is ten times higher than the Nordic industry average and 40% of the company’s growth is organic or through recommendation.
