Nerd Wallet extends "Turn to the Nerds" platform in new campaign

Nerd Wallett have introduced the next phase of its successful “Turn to the Nerds” brand platform with the help of its agency of record, San Francisco-based ARGONAUT.
When “Turn to the Nerds” launched last summer, it was designed to introduce the NerdWallet brand as a friendly, approachable resource committed to providing consumers an objective, trusted place to go to better understand their options, and make decisions with confidence. With this new “Money Questions” campaign, NerdWallet aims to extend that narrative, bringing to life the truth about how people often think about their money - in the smallest and biggest of moments - while still encouraging people to “Turn to the Nerds” for answers to all of the personal finance questions that get in the way of living your best life - from credit cards and investing to mortgages and more.

Three new spots sit at the center of the campaign - Money Questions, Fatherly Advice and Card Envy – which will run nationally across TV (a mix of linear and OTT) and YouTube as :30 and :15 cuts.
This is the first campaign to launch under the leadership of Nerd Wallet’s first-ever Chief Marketing Officer, Kelly Gillease, whose appointment was just announced. “NerdWallet has a team of passionate Nerds that work to answer the personal finance questions people have most - from which credit card is best for me, to how to shop for my first home,” Gillease said. “In our new Money Questions campaign, we highlight how NerdWallet helps to get you the information you need - in an easy-to-understand way - so you can make the best financial decision for you.”
