Munro & Co Is Bueno
Millie Munro and Bryan Shrednick join forces to launch new talent management company, bueno.
Millie Munro, of independent representation company Munro & Co, and Bryan Shrednick, formerly of Shortlist Management, have joined forces in the launch of their new company, bueno.
Based in Venice, bueno is a talent management company born out of the founders’ shared passion for connecting renowned industry artists and production partners with agencies and brands to bring dynamic stories to life.
bueno, originally started by Bryan in 2015 after a several-month wandering sabbatical, now launches hand-in-hand with the Munro & Co. client roster to create a finely tailored offering of innovative companies and artists in production, post production, and digital, ranging from decorated powerhouses like Stink USA and Human to new wave integrated outfits such as m ss ng p eces, Bullitt Branded and Alldayeveryday.
“The clients on our roster share a vibrant, youthful energy and are navigating advertising and entertainment with a fresh approach,” Millie remarks. “From the big global powerhouses to the those in their ascent - all of the companies on our roster offer a unique set of skills and experience, coupled with engaging stories to tell.”
“There’s a real pirate spirit in the culture of our companies,” echoes Bryan. “They are forward-thinking, taking the latest ideas and technologies to unite brands and agencies with powerful narrative. Millie and I couldn’t be more pleased to join forces and champion this compelling group of talent on the West Coast.”
Millie Munro infuses the new company with an international DNA, having grown up in Australia and spent years working in the UK and Los Angeles. From 2010 – 2014, Millie was Executive Producer at music and sound design studio Human, where she opened the company’s London office before relocating to Los Angeles three years ago. Simultaneously, she worked alongside Brent Novick, representing his roster of talent before venturing on her own to begin Munro & Co in 2014. Millie previously launched Moxie Pictures London in 2005, where she remained as Head of Sales, representing and growing the company’s roster of directors for over five years.
Bryan is an explorer and outside-the-box thinker with wide sales experience across the industry. Most recently, Bryan was at Shortlist - a pillar in the independent talent management business - where he had the enviable experience of representing highly decorated production, post, and digital outfits. Prior, Bryan spent a notable tenure as Director of Business Development at award-winning design and digital production studio Royale, leading its sales and marketing efforts across USA and Europe.
These two industry-renowned reps now come together, combining the resources and knowledge to unlock and guide collaborations in the creation of effective, well-told stories in an ever-evolving industry.
“Bryan and I share a similar aesthetic and a love of the alchemy of our role in the production process,” Millie explains. “We both worked in-house and as independents and have built on that experience to develop a fresh style of strategic management. We have an incredible and diverse offering of global and local talent and with the West Coast agencies and brands producing such great work right now, we’re thrilled to provide such a strong destination resource.”
