Odelay Films latest signing presents an exciting moment for the team as they welcome renowned writer, producer and director Miranda Bowen.
Bowen has been captivating audiences and has earned critical acclaim throughout her career.
Through her unique storytelling style she often explores the unseen and unacknowledged, allowing her to bring characters to life with authenticity and depth. Miranda has a great eye for composing a shot to perfection and is brilliant with artists whether trained actors, celebrities, kids or ‘real people’. She has worked with numerous high profile stars and actors including Jodie Comer, Sandra Oh, Jessie Buckley, Rory Kinnear, Rosamund Pike, Ophelia Lovibond and Girls Aloud.
On joining Odelay Bowen shares: "‘It is a great honour to be joining the phenomenally creative team at Odelay with their passionate commitment to sustainability, equality and diversity. Alongside a prolific career directing commercials she is best known for her drama work including Killing Eve (HBO/BBC), Women in Love (BBC) The Last Post (BBC) and Gozo, her debut feature film, which won best UK film at the Raindance Film Festival.
In her commercial work she has directed spots for the likes of Sainsbury’s, HSBC, Lenor, Persil, Weight Watchers, Kit Kat/Nestle, Danone, Lindt and Ferrero Rocher.

Bowen is currently in pre-production on Vamp, a dark, menopausal vampire feature film for the BFI and BBC Films. On top of all this Bowen has also published several short stories.
