Wood's documentaries have captivated audiences at film festivals around the world including SXSW and have been showcased at venues such as The Getty Museum. Her latest short film Caretaker, a personal look at her uncle's health crisis, received major acclaim at DocNYC and the HollyShorts Film Festival.
“The people at Minted have a rare and wonderful blend of exceptional professionalism and genuine care,” says Wood. “I am thrilled to be joining such a talented and effective team as we look forward to creating really impactful work together."This marks the second director signing this year by Minted, led by Owner/Executive Producer Lance O'Connor and Executive Producer Edina Sallay. In March, they welcomed Oscar-winning director Joachim Back.

Her immersive approach to filmmaking has taken her from cornfields to vistas throughout the Americas, collaborating with Indigenous communities to tell stories of cultural preservation and environmental justice. Through multi-cultural storytelling that captures the human experience, Wood's dedication to exploring the intersection of tradition and modernity makes her one of the more distinctive filmmakers in the industry as she brings her documentary expertise to the world of commercials.
