Minted Content announces the signing of director Veronica Rose Wood.

Wood's documentaries have captivated audiences at film festivals around the world including SXSW and have been showcased at venues such as The Getty Museum.

“The people at Minted have a rare and wonderful blend of exceptional professionalism and genuine care,” says Wood. “I am thrilled to be joining such a talented and effective team as we look forward to creating really impactful work together."

This marks the second director signing this year by Minted, led by Owner/Executive Producer Lance O'Connor and Executive Producer Edina Sallay. In March, they welcomed Oscar-winning director Joachim Back.

“It is a great pleasure for Minted to welcome Veronica to our creative roster,” says O’Connor. "Her remarkable talent for capturing the authentic tenderness of human connection through emotional storytelling is truly inspiring. We are excited to welcome her aboard and confident that we will create extraordinary work together.”

Having begun her career in Australia, Wood has spent over fifteen years refining her cinematic voice across more than a dozen countries including Kenya, Guatemala, Spain, as well as frequenting in Mexico, influenced by her Mexican heritage.

Her latest documentary Caretaker, a personal look at her uncle’s health crisis, received major acclaim at DocNYC and the HollyShorts Film Festival. Wood’s explorations of the human condition and its many complexities makes her one of the more unique filmmakers in the industry as she brings her documentary expertise to the world of commercials.
