Throughout his career, Leo has led creative teams at agencies such as Ogilvy, Havas, Publicis, DDB, and Laundry Service. In the United States, he has held global leadership positions at companies like Snapchat, where he was Global Head of Creative, and Amazon Prime Video Studios, acting as VP Global of Marketing and Activations. Previously, based in New York, he was Global CCO of Laundry Service, leading international accounts such as Nike, Foot Locker, Hennessy, among others.
His career is marked by work on complex, multidisciplinary, and multicultural projects. Over the years, Leo has won more than 300 international awards at the industry's major festivals, served as a judge at various editions of Cannes Lions and other global awards, and has spoken at SXSW on innovation, creativity, and new brand-building models.
Chaka Sobhani, Global Chief Creative Officer of TBWA\Worldwide, comments on Leo's arrival: "These are exciting times! Leo's innovative vision and vast experience make him a truly disruptive leader essential for the launch of Lola\TBWA in Brazil. He both inspires and challenges in equal measure and will further strengthen our commitment to delivering bold, culturally relevant work that transforms our clients' businesses. I am absolutely thrilled about his arrival, elevating our creative standards in Brazil and globally."
Carol Boccia, CEO of Lola\TBWA, adds: "Leo is an extraordinary professional with a strong and unique vision, as well as a rare experience that connects creativity, branding, and business. He arrives to elevate our creative bar and help define the standards that will guide Lola from the start. His perspective on new narratives, cultural trends, and ways to connect brands and people is fully aligned with the project we are building."
"My recent experience in the United States at companies like Amazon Studios and Snapchat, combined with entrepreneurship, has expanded my vision of how creativity can act as a system to build relevance, culture, and long-term value for brands. I see in Lola\TBWA the opportunity to expand this way of thinking and doing in a globally ambitious project, led by Carol Boccia, based in Brazil, where I will be working very closely with her during this important phase of the agency's creative structuring," comments Leo Macias.
