Continuing their growth, Lockt Editorial brings on Gianluigi Carella, adding him to their depth of editorial talent for exclusive U. S. commercial representation.

With a background in filmmaking and CG creative direction, Carella’s distinctive and electric style creates a harmonious balance in his visuals. His meticulous attention to detail and dedication to creating a rhythm between his VFX vision and the editing process make Carella a master of his process. Bringing on Carella symbolizes Lockt’s continuous commitment to offering innovative capabilities and cutting-edge talent to their brand, agency, and entertainment clients.

As Lockt Editorial continues to broaden their roster of talent, Carella has a robust filmmaking and editing portfolio that spans across clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Audi, Oakley and ESPN. First learning the craft of filmmaking and then editing to make the tone of the story cohesive, Carella uses his proficiency in VFX to create rich visuals that add to the depth to his work.

Most recently, Carella directed, edited and led the VFX for The Man in Black, a Warner Brothers and ESPN CreativeWorks crossover promotional spot for Black Adam. Carella used his masterful skillset to edit the punchy visuals of the new Toyota GR Corolla spot. Blending live-action shooting with CG cars racing, Carella was able to add his unique editing touch to the project to help create a visually stunning spot with high intensity.

Connor Scofield, President at Lockt adds, “We are excited to showcase Gianluigi’s capabilities as a seasoned editor and VFX artist in the next chapter of Lockt’s growth. Gianluigi's combination of skills and approach to projects make him a savant of post-production, fitting in perfectly with Lockt’s vision for the future of top-tier post creative.”
