Editor Leo King has joined EXILE for representation in the United States, marking an exciting new chapter in his international career.
Known for crafting everything from razor-sharp comedy to cinematic action, King has built a reputation as one of the UK's most respected editors. As the founder of Stitch, he has spent over a decade championing exceptional creative talent while continuing to edit acclaimed campaigns for some of the world's biggest brands and directors.
King's career began at just fifteen years old at Twickenham Film Studios, where he worked alongside legendary editor Tony Lawson and director Nicolas Roeg, introducing him to the world of editing. After roles at DGW and Cut + Run, he founded Stitch in 2010, growing it into one of the UK's leading boutique edit houses. Alongside his commercial work, King also founded Yarns, a not-for-profit short film competition to support unsigned filmmakers, producing more than 30 original films over the past ten years.
King has collaborated with internationally renowned directors including Nick Ball, Ninian Doff, Declan Lowney, Tim McNaughton, Thomas Ormonde and Georgi Banks-Davies amongst others, and earned recognition from Clio Awards, British Arrows, D&AD, Ciclope, Creative Circle, LIA, and Kinsale Sharks.
Joining EXILE expands King's presence in the U.S. market while bringing his distinctive editorial voice to the company's celebrated roster. Since its founding in 2014, EXILE has established itself as a home for editors with singular creative perspectives, pairing award-winning craft with a collaborative approach across commercial and long-form filmmaking.
