Kurt Novack has joined TBWA\ as Creative Director, replacing Audrey Tamic who has decided to pursue a new direction in her career.

Working under TBWA\ Executive Creative Directors Benjamin Marchal and Faustin Claverie, Kurt Novack will be in charge of supporting more than 80 creatives dedicated to retail, CRM, and digital and will thus continue the transformation and integration of the Proximity agency within the group. 

Many will recall that in 2020, TBWA\Paris merged with Proximity to meet the transformation challenges of the industry. This new model was based on bringing the audience culture closer to the ideas culture while placing creative excellence, so dear to TBWA\, at the heart of the approach.

Anne Vincent and Olivier Rippe, Executive Vice Presidents of TBWA\, commented: “Over the last 15 years, Audrey has greatly contributed to Proximity's influence in France and abroad in a constantly changing market. We wish her all the success she deserves with her new project. We are delighted to welcome Kurt. Kurt Novack added: “First of all, I am really excited to come back to Proximity, an agency I grew up in, where I learned my skills that have helped me since I left in 2010. Kurt Novack was born in Chicago and moved to France in 1986. He began his career as an Art Director at Draft FCB, then Saatchi & Saatchi before joining Proximity BBDO in 2001. He spent 9 years there, becoming Deputy Creative Director and working on accounts such as Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Thalys. In 2010, he joined Ogilvy One for 5 years on brands including Baccarat, Louis Vuitton, Mattel, and Nestlé. He then spent 3 years at Leo Burnett and a year with design agency Dragon Rouge before heading off to Malaysia to return to the Ogilvy group.  

His multi award-winning work spans brands from Scrabble Wifi to Louis Vuitton, and campaigns like The Greatest Words, Babolat Play, and Coke Galactic Bottles.
