Following his signing to Partizan, director Erik He has completed a trio of music videos for Irish dance artist Jazzy, directing visuals for her collaborations with East End Dubs, Calvin Harris, and Chris Lorenzo.

Together, the three films showcase the breadth of He's visual language. Moving between sculptural performance, surreal storytelling and sun-drenched minimalism, each video responds to the distinct mood of its track while maintaining the considered compositions and contemporary aesthetic that define his work.

A visual artist shaped by a globally diverse upbringing across Asia, North America and Europe, He's practice spans sculpture, performance and moving image. That multidisciplinary background informs a filmmaking style rooted in strong visual composition, precise production design and an instinct for creating immersive worlds around music.

For Invisible, He shifts towards a more conceptual visual language, exploring themes of scrutiny, identity and isolation through a series of quietly surreal tableaux.

Ordinary social spaces become subtly uncanny as anonymous, headless figures populate the frame, transforming familiar environments into psychological landscapes. Rather than relying on spectacle, restrained visual effects, atmospheric lighting, and carefully composed imagery create a world that reflects the song's emotional undercurrent, balancing performance with understated surrealism.

Released in May, Satisfy pairs Jazzy with Calvin Harris on an expansive summer anthem built for festival season.

Responding to the track's warmth and optimism, He adopts a lighter visual touch. Natural light, fluid camera movement and open architectural spaces create an effortless sense of movement throughout the film, while understated performance allows the music's uplifting energy to take centre stage. The result is a visual that feels as buoyant and expansive as the track itself.

The first collaboration, On A Wave, sees Jazzy join forces with London-based producer East End Dubs in a sleek, performance-led visual set within choreographer Wayne McGregor's Hackney studio.

Leaning into a cool silver palette and minimalist production design, He creates a refined electronic landscape that mirrors the track's hypnotic pulse. Stripped back yet striking, the film uses lighting, texture and movement to build an immersive atmosphere, allowing the artists' performances to sit confidently at the centre of the frame.

Speaking about the collaboration, He said: "Working with Jazzy and her team has been incredibly rewarding. Every project presented a different creative challenge, but there was always a shared willingness to experiment and find the best solution. Seeing that creative relationship evolve across three very different films has been one of the most rewarding parts of the process."

Across all three releases, He demonstrates a confident versatility, adapting his visual approach to each track while establishing himself as one of the most exciting emerging voices in music video direction.
