Jazzy and East End Dubs are on a wave

Partizan has produced the official video for On A Wave, the new collaboration between Irish dance artist Jazzy and London-based DJ and producer East End Dubs, directed by Erik He in his first project since signing with the company.

A visual artist shaped by a globally diverse upbringing across Asia, North America and Europe, He’s work blends sculpture, performance and moving image into striking contemporary compositions. This sensibility runs through the film’s clean, stylised design.

Shot in Wayne McGregor’s Hackney studio, the video leans into a cool, silver-toned palette and a minimalist set design to create a refined, electronic visual world that mirrors the track’s driving pulse. Lighting, texture and performance set the rhythm of the piece, building an immersive atmosphere around the artists.

Jazzy, the Dublin-born singer-songwriter behind dance hits including Giving Me and collaborations with Belters Only and Sonny Fodera, joins forces here with East End Dubs, a leading figure in the UK’s minimal tech-house scene who emerged from East London’s underground in the early 2010s.

The result is a stripped-back but striking visual world that lets the track’s hypnotic energy do the talking.
