It's a Booyah Day with Free Fire
Passion Pictures and Garena have produced a blockbuster film for Free Fire’s Booyah Day, directed by Jon Saunders.
Jon Saunders directs this exciting story in an eye-popping style filled with action and suspense.
Jon Saunders takes the unique vision established on his previous Free Fire instalment, Project Cobra, to the next level in this blockbuster short. Saunders and Passion developed this visual style alongside Garena, with a mix of anime and comic book references, into an entirely original look for the film. Booyah Day blends multiple styles and techniques seamlessly and is filled with dynamic poses, character and framing
The film follows Leon and his little sister, Amalie, as they attend the biggest event of the year. When uninvited guests show up and ruin the fun, the warrior’s band together to battle evil. Unexpectedly, College student Leon, assists in the battle with help from his newly trained mechanical leg, Leon is strong enough to defeat evil and gain new abilities along the way.
Free Fire celebrated Booyah Day alongside the launch of its first major brand campaign, Battle In Style. Booyah is used in Free Fire to symbolise victory, and is often used by Survivors to express other moments of joy and excitement. Booyah Day celebrates the moments of achievements both in the game, and in real life.
