NEXODUS announces Holli Alvarado as their latest Creative Director. 

An accomplished creative with strong project management and project estimation skills, Alvarado has developed systems for fast turnaround of product stills and product 360’s for Clients such as Microsoft Xbox, Surface, Hololens, Paccar, Funko, Assurance, ModuMetal and PowerA. 

Alvarado's notable projects include: Fear the Walking Dead, The Queen's Gambit, Stranger Things, Wendell & Wild, and Microsoft Xbox, Hololens and Surface marketing. Her personal work has been published in digital art books Expose 5 and Exotique 3.

Alvarado has worked on a diverse array of design, motion and visual effects projects over the past 20 years, with stints in advertising, product design, video games, film and TV. Her toolset is equally diverse: real-time 3D graphics in Unreal Engine and photoreal visual effects in Nuke, alongside traditional design and motion tools like Photoshop, Procreate and After Effects. Her favourite work includes concept development, matte painting, retouching and traditional watercolor. 

Alvarado has worked as a Concept Designer, Matte Painter and Compositor at RPA, Brand New School, DirecTV and others. In her role as Creative Director, she solves creative challenges efficiently, employing her problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions. Skilled in both digital art and fine art techniques, she is also a Creative Strategist who has been the driving force behind the creative concepts for campaigns.

"I start by picturing what the end of the project will look like, where it will live and what its purpose will be,” comments Alvarado. "Bringing into reality an idea that only existed in a client’s mind moments before is very fulfilling. Whether I’m matte painting, doodling, creating artwork for a pitch deck or working on production assets, I get so much joy out of it all."
