Hannah Bellil named global head of Stink Rising
International executive producer leaves Rankin to run global creative network.
The independent global production network Stink Films, announced today Hannah Bellil’s appointment as Global Head of Stink Rising.
Joining from RANKIN, where she worked as an Executive Producer and previously PRETTYBIRD, Bellil will take the helm of the two-year-old division that nurtures an international roster of up and coming directors and photographers.
British Bellil began her career in Melbourne, Australia as an events and PR manager, festival producer and fashion editor. She cut her production teeth in 2014, since producing international work across the US, Japan, South Africa, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Canada, Iceland, Australia with top tier advertising agencies, creative & digital agencies, record labels and direct to brand. In 2017 she moved back to the UK and accepted the full-time role of Producer at PRETTYBIRD. After nearly four years with with the production house , Bellil joined the creative agency RANKIN as an executive producer within their creative agency and also headed up the in-house production company and talent roster, The Graft. Her efforts have been duly recognised, named within Pitch 100 Women 2019, her work has received many festival wins and nominations during the course of her career including Raindance, shot's, ARIA’s, Kinsale, MVA’s, London Fashion Film Festival, Australian International Fashion Film Festival & Berlin Fashion Film Festival. Bellil has worked with some of the biggest and most recognised brands; Burberry, Gucci, FarFetch, VSCO, H&M, The Bodyshop, Disney, NIKE, NHS, Ebay, Charles Jeffrey, SHOWstudio, GQ, Nowness and Dazed, to name a few.

Since its launch in 2018 Stink Rising has had an unprecedented success. The first mandate ’to introduce exciting and innovative directors to the advertising market’ has evidently been fulfilled, with directors Douglas Bernardt, Matilda Finn, Felix Brady and Eoin Glaister gaining notoriety globally. Across the Rising roster there have been a plethora of awards, from MVA best director (Matilda Finn) to D&AD Pencils, shots Awards, Creative Circle and YDA nominations and wins. Stink Films was awarded most creative production company in this years Circle awards, and Rising gained silver in best production at the YDAs this year.
As Global Head, Bellil will be responsible for the global strategic oversight of Stink Rising, driving excellence, growth, whilst identifying and nurturing talent across the network; helping them and their production team to create exciting and prgressive work. With an eye for talent and a drive to support, Bellil brings not only a wealth of experience but additionally exciting prospects to Stink Rising and it’s roster.
