HAMLET signs Nitram
The director joins for representation in Belgium, France, Holland, China and APAC.
International production company HAMLET has signed director Nitram to their roster for representation in Belgium, France, Holland, China and APAC.
After graduating from Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in Belgium with a BA in directing, Nitram started his career assisting on features and TV series before progressing into full-time directing. He has become known for his vibrant, surreal imagery and colourful worldbuilding, with an ability to blend quirky humour with a touch of fantasy.
A 2019 Porsche Awards nominee, he gained significant attention with his music video for Onha's KODAK, which premiered on the renowned Eye Candy (@eyecannndy) Instagram page. The video was described as “genuinely one of the coolest music videos we’ve featured this year,” amassing over 31,000 likes. It also landed a Promo News ‘Pick of the Day' and was shortlisted twice in this year's UKMVA awards in the best newcomer categories for best hip hop/grime/rap video and best editing.
On signing to HAMLET, Nitram said: “ I’m really excited to kick off this journey with the fantastic team at Hamlet! I can’t wait to push boundaries, think big, and create some amazing projects with amazing people. And let’s be honest—I’m also looking forward to some serious ping pong matches because, YES, they do have a ping pong table at their office…”.
Jason Felstead, co-founder and executive producer, HAMLET added: “ Signing Nitram is an exciting new chapter that fits Hamlet's firm belief that young talent needs to be supported. His creative potential is undeniable, blending a distinctive style and poppy tonalities with sharp Gen Z humour that brings fresh energy to the screen. He has an incredible eye for talent, and I’m confident his unique vision will make waves in the industry”.
Nitram’s hobbies include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but his true passion is making funny films.
