International production company Hamlet have started the new year with a bang with the signing of Louis Brun to the roster.

Brun will be represented globally in Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Germany, APAC, China and Japan.

Brun is a Brussels-born director and photographer based between Brussels and Paris. His work blends sensory storytelling with a strong attention to everyday details, often blurring the line between documentary and fiction.

With a background spanning fashion, music, and art, Brun's films are driven by emotion, texture, and human presence, combining a cinematic eye with a natural, grounded approach. He creates work that balances control with spontaneity, often merging documentary sensibility with carefully crafted visuals that feel tangible and instinctive. His frequent use of analog film and practical techniques brings warmth and authenticity to his imagery.

Brun has created campaigns for fashion brands Versace, Yentsé and Shon Mott.

Marie Archambeaud, Executive Producer at Hamlet: “Louis’s sensitivity and delicate approach immediately resonated with us, making his joining Hamlet an obvious choice for everyone. Embracing a refined, visually driven universe, Louis brings a truly distinctive vision to Hamlet and will naturally complete its DNA. We are very much looking forward to 2026 with him. Welcome, Louis Brun!”

Brun adds: “I’ve known Hamlet for a long time, and this signature marks an exciting new chapter. Coming from the same Belgian roots, and sharing a strong interest in international cultures, this collaboration feels very natural. I’m so happy to begin working together within a production company with a strong international presence, alongside people I deeply respect. Their commercial expertise meets my more fashion-driven, image-led approach in a way that feels balanced and promising. I’m looking forward to what we’ll build together.”

New work by Louis, produced by Hamlet will be coming out later this year.
