After 20 incredible years at its Wardour Street home, London edit house Cut+Run is saying goodbye to its iconic office at Cinema House and beginning a new chapter in its development.
No. 93 has been home to Cut+Run since its founding in 1997, so the move will be the end of an era but the beginning of an exciting new chapter when the new space opens its doors!
The timing of Cinema House’s lease expiry has meant the award-winning edit house has been able to react quickly and decisively during the recent pandemic and they are presently searching for a new home. Managing partner, Toby Abbott comments: “We are looking for a new home that better suits our needs, our clients needs, and is better suited to the working environment we now find ourselves in. We do this in the knowledge that our editors are fully equipped to edit remotely, have the very best streaming equipment to ensure they can collaborate with directors and creatives and with the support of our superb team of assistants and producers.”
Nick Armstrong, Sam Bould, Ben Campbell, Sally Cooper, Sam Jones, Rebecca Luff, Jamie O’Donnell, Matt Prickett, James Rose, Meg Thorne and Julian Tranquille all continue to work remotely, with safe, comfortable and secure spaces available for attended sessions when required and restrictions allow.
Sister company Jogger Studios are also moving, and the pairing will continue to offer a seamless post production workflow, with capabilities in colour, VFX and finishing alongside editing.
"I loved our office at Cinema house, I have so many happy memories of the place,” says editor & partner Julian Tranquille. “It has been my second home for the last twenty years, so moving out has been emotional, but times have changed and so must we. I'm proud of what we achieved there and excited about taking this legacy with us to our new home. We’ve gone virtual while restrictions are in place and whilst we finalise our new home and will continue to provide clients with the highest standard editing, remote viewing and collaborating experience.”

Editor & partner Sam Jones says, “We continue to push forward as we look to the future and adapt to the changing world. Being responsive, versatile and patient have always been key characteristics of our editors anyway. I’m very excited as we embark on the next chapter with the creativity and passion for the craft deep at our core."
