Gabi signs with Presence
Presence first became aware of her talent when she entered their inaugural 9:16 competition with her film Innumerable Things.
In continuing to build a roster of storytellers, Presence welcomes Gabi, exceptional director, animator, creative and visual artist.
Presence first became aware of her extraordinary talent when she entered Presence's inaugural 9:16 competition with her film Innumerable Things that narrated a day in her life through receipts. Her ideas are novel and highly executed. Her animation has an elegance and is very unique to her.
RCA alumni, Gabi is the latest signing to Presence with whom she has already collaborated on social projects for Penhaligons. Previously, Gabi has produced beautiful work for W Mag and Cartier and she has created stunning visuals for Adele’s live performances.
Gabi gives us an insight into her working practice: “ I enjoy bringing movement to life in all its forms. My approach varies depending on what I wish to express, each style has its own unique structure. With 2D, I relish the opportunity to create intuitive, defined lines that flow through time. In contrast, 3D allows me to shape time more fluidly, adding depth and texture. Both offer exciting possibilities for storytelling.”
Gabi tells us that she is thrilled to embrace every kind of creative challenge with our team. She says “the opportunity to explore diverse ideas and formats truly excites me.”
Presence is looking forward to the future with Gabi. She joins the ranks of our their talented animation directors Paulina Ziolkowska, Toby Auberg, Dimitris Armenakis, Chris Shepherd and Richard Swarbrick.
