JetPacks Go! are a collective of three Brooklyn-based directors: Alden Ford, Justin Tyler and Bobby Webster.
JetPacks Go! combine their collective talents like a short, ferocious Voltron to make killer commercials, content and comedy.
Meeting in New York, Ford and Tyler worked their way up the New York comedy scene, writing and performing sketch shows whilst Bobby worked though film school. They met, bonded over a shared passion for the cinematic masterpiece Willow, and knew they had to work together; so began their extensive experience on features, shorts, TV, live improv comedy and commercials.
The key to their work is their ability to bring out the surreality in the normality of life. The quirky characteristics of regular people is a big inspiration for the trio. Even in their more outlandish spots, a Sesame Street-style letter puppet singing a song for a supermarket, the humour still has to come from a down-to-earth place.
With their experience in stand-up and writing they bring the best combination of perfect casting, funny beats, great visuals, and the ability to flex to every obstacle be it whispering quietly into dogs on camera to please lick the invisible goo they’ve just smeared over an actor’s face, or rewriting a spot in the parking lot at lunchtime when the featured celeb decided they didn’t like the script (and create a better script in the process).
Creating as a hive mind, they are always conspiring to find ways to enhance every project they touch: with an added joke, a revelatory note or an instantly memorable visual turn and having bionic sets of skills with their joint tool belt of directing, writing, acting and cinematography they prove that three really is the best sort of crowd.
