Production company Spears & Arrows, led by Founder/Managing Director Jason Wolk, has signed acclaimed food director, Rob Fiocca for US representation.

“We’re very excited to have Rob join us at Spears & Arrows,” said Wolk. “His work in the food advertising space is exceptionally beautiful and unique, and really quite sensual. You definitely can’t look away once you start watching one of his spots.”

Fiocca, whose career spans over 25 years of working for clients like LongHorn Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Schneiders, McDonald's, Publix, and Cracker Barrel, began his career as a commercial still photographer, and that background in composition, lighting, texture, and attention to detail is evident in his motion work. 

I love photographing unique and beautiful things

Fiocca said. “Whether that be faces or a grilling steak. There is story and beauty to be found in each. You just have to look for it and draw out. And to do that, you need good, creative people backing you up. That’s why I work with only the most amazing food stylists, production designers, and DPs. I demand a lot, but also give them the freedom to be as creative as they can be.”

“Rob is a true filmmaker,” Wolk added. “His subject is food, but his films are as full of beauty and drama and story as any you will find. I love his cinematic lighting and camera movement, and that he’s not afraid to bring in unique tools like intricate rigs, Moco, or specialty lenses to create powerful visuals that really tell the story of the food.”
