Skincare and makeup brand Yifinite has partnered with Final Frontier to launch the Foundation Series, a stunning new campaign that brings to life the beauty of Yifinite’s newest products: the Soft-Focus Oil-Control Powder, Long-wear Air Cushion, and Misty Veil Primer. 

Through meticulously crafted CG films, the campaign reflects a serene, gentle worldview, harmonizing with the essence of these innovative beauty products.

Directed by Verso, the creative direction embraces minimalist elegance, where sleek packaging, subtle movements, and smooth textures take centre stage. Each film captures the calming, timeless experience of self-care, celebrating Yifinite’s commitment to delivering a natural, long-lasting finish enhanced by advanced oil-control technology.

The campaign also introduces celestial themes, an artistic choice that reflects the narrative’s “chain reaction,” as described by creative director Nicolás Basílico from Verso: “The universe itself was the inspiration, not just for the visual elements, but the systems. Every frame, every colour, every movement is tied to a mechanism that displays our vision of this narrative: the ‘chain reaction’.”

Verso highlighted the evolution of the creative process, noting how collaboration with the client helped shape the final product: “We started with a very different idea than the one we ended up with. Working with the client was fundamental to understanding each other and finding the best way to campaign these products. Our initial treatment, ‘slow is beauty,’ remained a guiding principle, but was refined and extended through narrative curves, reaffirming the core of our studio: trusting the process and honouring our artistic instincts.”

From an artistic standpoint, the campaign blends celestial beauty themes with minimalist aesthetics, creating a sense of balance and harmony. The films feature intricate simulations that showcase the texture and detail of each product, with Verso and the Final Frontier team overcoming technical challenges to perfect each shot.

“Each product had a specific texture that we wanted to highlight with the highest quality. Controlling those simulations to align with both our vision and the client’s was key,” said Verso. “Another challenge was the colour palettes and connecting the different universes and products, all while composing intricate details of small beauty items with grand, space-inspired visuals.”

Despite these challenges, Verso praises the seamless collaboration with Final Frontier: “It’s always a pleasure to work with FF. Our communication and artistic connection make teamwork feel effortless.”
