Field Unit announces the arrival of Arthur Couvat
Fresh off directing elements for Nike’s award-winning Rip the Script World Cup campaign, director Arthur Couvat joins Field Unit for US representation.
Field Unit announce the addition of French director Arthur Couvat to its growing roster of talent.
With an eye shaped by the worlds of sports and fashion, Couvat’s recent work directing social elements for Nike’s Rip the Script World Cup campaign showcased the director’s ability to connect with audiences on a global scale.
Couvat’s background spans editing, still photography, and cinematography, fitting neatly within Field Unit’s belief that the modern filmmaker is a multi-hyphenate artist. His client list includes Nike, Adidas, Rimowa, Spotify, Burton, and more. He also brings an agency-side perspective, having started his career at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, where he developed a nuanced understanding of a director’s role in international campaigns.
“I’m thrilled to be expanding my work into the US with Field Unit,” says Couvat. “From our very first conversation, I felt they had exactly the energy I look for in a production partner: ambitious, excited about making great work, but also flexible enough to adapt to each project’s needs. Coming from a background of wearing many different hats, that’s exactly the kind of approach I connect with.”
For Field Unit, Couvat brings a mix of practical experience and originality. As creative versatility becomes an increasingly valuable asset, his combination of visual craft, cultural fluency, and playful tone promises to bring fresh energy to the company’s expanding roster of talent.
“We love Arthur’s work,” says Alec Ernest of Field Unit. “He has a rare combination of skills, a ton of talent, and an incredible charisma. We have no doubt that the American market is going to love him, and our clients are extremely excited to work with him. His work represents exactly where we want to go next as a company: bold, culture defining creative with some of the biggest talents in the world.”
Having worked with everyone from professional athletes to A-list celebrity talent, Couvat is now looking to bring his refined sensibility into luxury, hospitality, and the broader American market. His move to the United States marks a new chapter, with an eye toward bigger projects, wider audiences, and eventually, narrative filmmaking.
That ambition is already taking shape with Sacred Quest, his upcoming short film, which is preparing to enter the festival circuit. The future is in motion. Field Unit is pleased to be moving with it.
