Director Olivier Staub joins Spears & Arrows

Production company Spears & Arrows, led by Founder/Managing Director Jason Wolk, has signed Canadian Director/Photographer Olivier Staub for U.S. representation.
“Olivier is a unique and masterful visual storyteller,” said Wolk. “His work is grand and epic and yet full of intimate and immersive moments that really connect with the viewer. He seamlessly integrates VFX into his live action work in a native manner. I’m excited to be working with him.”
Staub continued the sentiment, stating, “And, I’m equally excited to be at Spears & Arrows. The company’s level of aesthetic and sophistication is on par with the best companies out there. But it was Jason’s hands-on and detail-oriented management style really that really sold me.”
Staub, who was formerly repped by Great Guns, began his career as a still photographer and that attention to detail is clearly evident in his commercial work for international clients like Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Air Canada, Amazon, Nike, Fujitsu, and Mazda.
Among his most celebrated work is the stunning 37 Days, a short film shot on top of a 9,000-foot glacier that depicts the miracle of plant life emerging inside a giant, warmed glass cube. The film won more than 65 international awards, including 4 Cannes Lions and the Grand Prix at the Cristal Awards.
Staub joins a Spears & Arrows roster that includes Arni Thor Jonsson, Don Broida, Mick Wong, Timothy Kendall, Ago Panini, Anton Jøsef, David Hicks, Rob Fiocca, Christina Hodnet, David Stoddart, Lisa Linke, Michael Shapiro, Nick Piper, Michael Uppendahl, and Wondo.
