High-end editorial boutique Cutters announce the addition of Christina Anderson in the role of Executive Producer of Cutters Detroit.
High-end editorial boutique Cutters announce the addition of Christina Anderson in the role of Executive Producer of Cutters Detroit. The announcement was made by Cutters Studios President/Managing Director Craig Duncan and Cutters Detroit Managing Editor Louis Lyne.
Anderson joins Cutters from McCann Detroit, where as Integrated Art Producer, she fulfilled a long-held aspiration to work with the best of the best in the advertising world. Honing her expertise in showcasing artistic prowess, mentoring others, and connecting with diverse and colourful people as part of the illustrious McCann Worldgroup, one pinnacle achievement was sourcing the perfect photographer and producing the inaugural photoshoot for Lockheed Martin’s global brand campaign. Working alongside exceptional creatives and clients, her time at the agency leveraged all her passions, which include vast experience as a freelance photographer, writer, and illustrator.
The almost 13 years Anderson spent with M.A.C. Cosmetics has also proven incredibly impactful. Starting there at the ground level and ultimately rising to the position of Creative Business Manager, she savoured the opportunities to creatively leverage the brand’s commitment to quality, high-end products, and its multitude of high-profile celebrity endorsements and philanthropic initiatives. A Wayne State University alumna with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design and Photography, Anderson’s dedication to the visual arts and making ideas come to fruition remains infinite.
“Christina is a complete breath of fresh air,” began Lyne on behalf of his Cutters Studios colleagues, many of whom have directly collaborated with Anderson over the years. “As we forge ahead in an entirely new landscape with new working models, Christina became our hands-down choice. Her out-of-the-box approach is a perfect fit - not to mention her brilliant sense of humour, and her ability to find fun in adversity.”
“Our exhaustive search for the ideal candidate led us to Christina,” Duncan explained. “She blew me away from the minute I met her, and I knew we had found our new Executive Producer. She then met Heather Richardson, Caitlin Grady, and all the editors in Detroit; across the board, it has been love at first sight.”
Duncan continued, “On behalf of everyone at Cutters Studios, including our teams at Cutters, Another Country, and Flavor, we are thrilled to have Christina onboard.”
“Having worked with Cutters, Another Country, and Flavor often in the past, the blend of professionalism, personal touch, and fun drew me to join their team, as those are pillars that are innate in my own career experience,” Anderson said.
Asked about the road ahead, Anderson also shared these thoughts. “I’m excited to navigate the evolving industry landscape together and achieve new heights as a team; there is no better time than now.
“I’m thrilled about the opportunity to help shape the future of Cutters, driving growth, and continuing the legacy of excellence that has made this studio stand out in the industry.”
