Cut+Run Editor Adam Bazadona heads West
Cut+Run's San Francisco office will now be the award-winner's new headquarters.
Editor Adam Bazadona, who has been based out of Cut+Run’s NYoffice since 2009, is heading west to join the team in San Francisco led by Partner/Editor Pete Koob and EP Deanne Mehling.
Bazadona will continue to be available for projects nationwide.
“Adam has an incredible eye and his projects have an indelible imprint on both pop culture and society with a fusion of docu with rhythmic tone and pacing,” comments Cut+Run SF EP Deanne Mehling. “We are excited to introduce him to the SF advertising community.”
Adam started at Cut+Run as an assistant working alongside Gary Knight and Jon Grover. He soon forged a reputation for a deft hand at cutting projects with a distinct visual style and driving musical energy, often with a documentary perspective.
“I’m really appreciative of the opportunity to experience this next chapter with Cut+Run,” says Adam. “My time in New York was incredible - truly formative for my development as an editor - and I am excited to become part of this ever-expanding work family in San Francisco.”
His unique and thoughtful way of marrying compelling footage and graphics can be seen in his work for Converse and Mini Cooper, among others. Adam has also contributed his editing talent to projects for Sonos, Gap, Etsy, Chase, and Mastercard as well as for agencies Anomaly, Pereira & O’Dell, Droga5, and McCann. His work with Anomaly on Sonos earned him a coveted AICE Editing award in 2018.
Adam enjoys collaborating with directors Jason Koenig, Matt Baron, and A.F. Cortés and working on music videos for artists Nicki Minaj, Desiigner, Depeche Mode, and the late, great David Bowie.
