Creative Circle announce 2020 shortlist & virtual award show
Jeremy Green, Managing Director of Creative Circle writes an open letter to the UK creative industries.
Here is the shortlist of all the Creative Circle 2020 winners.
We can’t thank our judges enough, especially the Gold juries who made the live (Zoom) judging so much fun and possible. Children, dogs, cats and even a tortoise made an appearance.
Every entry on the shortlist was unanimously voted to receive an award as being the outstanding work from the past year. If you are on this list then congratulations. You are a winner.
And yes we will celebrate.
We are planning to hold an online ceremony (date TBC) so you can see which award is won by each of the entries on the shortlist.
Edith Bowman will be presenting, and we ask you all to attend to show your appreciation for the winners on the night.
This is a time more than ever that we need to unite as a community and celebrate British creativity. It is at times of crisis that the creative in all of us comes out; from adapting our business offerings, using our creativity to problem solve, design and engineering of ventilators to support the NHS, to supporting our children through their boredom in isolation. So many community good news stories have materialised from the adversity of this situation. It is good for the soul to distract our minds, to unite and create some positive energy. Creativity really shines through when we need it. Creativity makes us stronger and better equipped when we reach the other side.
We now want to provide a platform where we can all get together and enjoy the success of our winners in our creative industries.
Our ceremony will be held online and you are all invited.
Get dressed up, put your lipstick on, trim the beard. This is a party celebrating British creativity.
