HARBOR grows its VFX and finishing service with the hiring of accomplished Lead VFX artists Terry Silberman and Matt Motal and their long-standing producing partner Pravina Sippy.

HARBOR CEO, Zak Tucker stated, “This expansion of our talent and EP roster in HARBOR’S LA studio is in line with the company’s continued drive to build upon our success and offer innovative creative artistry to our clients.”

Terry Silberman brings decades of experience to the table, handling complex and tight turnaround VFX projects for a remarkable slate of brand name clients including Lexus, Mazda, Asics, Redbull, Beats and Toyota, and he joins HARBOR after his recent tenure as Partner at Arsenal Creative and Founding Partner of Apache Digital.

“I’m honored to be joining a global team that will allow me to collaborate seamlessly across borders, pushing the creative to new heights. This consistent and continuous collaboration, made possible at HARBOR, will keep us ahead of the curve and bring new creative possibilities to our clients,” said Silberman.

Silberman’s wide range of experience makes him available to set supervise, lead and oversee multiple teams of talent, and collaborate directly with directors, art directors, and editors. Getting involved early in the process, Silberman seamlessly integrates the VFX team with production to ensure the creatives’ final intentions are protected from the start of a shoot.

Matt Motal has built an impressive reputation for his skill and approach over the past 15 years, after holding senior positions with Arsenal Creative, Mirada Studios, 1.1 VFX and Motion Theory. Motal’s arrival at HARBOR further bolsters the team’s capability to deliver at the highest level.

Pravina Sippy joins HARBOR as Executive Producer, Commercial VFX and Finishing, LA. Sippy’s 11+ year career has taken her to partner with leading brands including GM, State Farm, Toyota, NFL, Kia and many more. Sippy has also collaborated across genres working on music videos for Dr. Dre and Muse and short films, including one for Canon helmed by celebrated director Bryce Dallas Howard. Most recently, she oversaw Arsenal Creative’s color department which she helped to build from the ground up.

Commenting on her new role at HARBOR, Sippy said: “I’m thrilled HARBOR’s given me the opportunity to grow this VFX and finishing department and be a part of developing its commercial slate. Working directly with HARBOR’s global offices and having top tier editorial, color, and sound talent at my disposal is a dream come true.”

Commenting on the appointments, CEO Zak Tucker said, “HARBOR’s approach has always been to lead with top-flight artistry and strong client relationships supported by world-class production execution, cutting edge workflows and global reach with studios in Los Angeles, New York, and London. This is a VFX team with expertise delivering highest caliber projects, creatively designing approaches that keep our clients on time, and on budget, whilst growing the careers of our artists. We enthusiastically anticipate the continuous growth of our commercial division and look forward to this next chapter in both their evolution, and ours.”

HARBOR artists are available to work globally. In addition to its NY, LA, and UK studios, HARBOR offers its full suite of services on-premises, remote, and hybrid, allowing clients maximum flexibility to mix-and-match as they see fit.
