Cointreau changes everything... except its liqueur
Cointreau is back with its new agency TBWA\Paris and a new campaign.
To mark the rejuvenation and upgrade of its iconic bottle, the most important in 140 years, and to support this new slogan, Cointreau has released a new brand film directed by Brian Beletic.
The scenario develops around a mysterious Cointreau man, as he is all dressed in orange, who suspends time at a party. This main character is played by French dancer and choreographer Kevin Bago. Slipping gracefully between the magically frozen guests, he makes his way to the host just in time to replace a recently emptied bottle of Cointreau. Thanks to his intervention, and a few other small and mischievous changes he makes, the evening can resume its course and be even better than when it started.

For countries with different legislation, none other than Alfred Cointreau, a
spirits enthusiast and member of the sixth generation of the Cointreau family,
will lend his image to the brand. In a series of prints and videos, he invites
cocktail lovers to discover how to make two classic cocktails at home, with
our orange liqueur at the heart of the recipe: the original Margarita and the
legendary Cosmopolitan.
Finally, a series of still lifes was created to illustrate 6 essential
cocktails to be made with Cointreau: the different ingredients were hand-
painted to recreate the Cointreau orange square in negative. An original way
to invite the curious to discover, on the brand's website, more than 500 other
cocktails to make.
Produced by TBWA Paris, all of these campaign elements will be broadcast on TV, shown on billboards, in the press and in points of sale throughout the world: in Europe and Asia this autumn and then in America next spring.
