But when Jesper wrote the screenplay for his short film CLICHÉ last year, it wasn’t cover stories yet. During the ten minute alluring one-take, we see an actress standing all alone and isolated in her apartment on a late evening. She is waiting for her agent to call her back, regarding a role in a new big feature film, that might be her long awaited breakthrough.
The lead performance is played by French actress Philypa Phoenix (also known from the Netflix-series Osmosis). One night, director Jesper Skoubølling received a text from Philypa feeling alone and isolated in France due to the new Corona lock-down.
