BURN Studio has signed British director and visual artist Taz Tron Delix, a filmmaker known for crafting emotionally charged, hyper-extended cinematic realities that sit somewhere between the subconscious and the unseen.

The signing deepens BURN's commitment to working with multi-disciplinary filmmakers who can build narrative worlds across formats, not just direct spots.

With roots in animation and visual effects, Delix's work blends mixed media, in-camera techniques and post-production artistry to create immersive visual experiences that blur the line between the tangible and the surreal. It's an approach that aligns directly with BURN's world-building philosophy, the belief that great campaigns aren't single executions, but interconnected creative ecosystems designed to resonate across every platform they touch.

Drawn to motion, speed, texture and the emotional language of colour, Delix developed his distinctive visual approach through experimentation in collage, animation and green-screen world building. Guided by a belief that film can reveal emotions and ideas that aren't always visible in everyday life, his work often explores spaces beyond reality, balancing polish with rawness and embracing imperfection as a creative tool. That sensibility was shaped by a deep connection to music culture and the formative influence of cinematic pioneers like Jonathan Glazer, Michel Gondry and Chris Cunningham.

That vision has carried across commercial campaigns for brands including BrewDog, Chivas, Google, EA Sports, Adidas, Dr. Martens and Major League Baseball, while establishing him as a defining voice in music videos and visual storytelling. Delix has collaborated with artists such as Stormzy, Joy Crookes, J Hus, Calvin Harris, Headie One and Oscar #Worldpeace, earning recognition from SIGGRAPH, the British Arrows, Shots Awards, UK Music Video Awards and Kinsale Shark Awards, among others.

"Taz doesn't just direct, he builds worlds," says Brad Johns, Managing Director and Executive Producer at BURN Studio. "His ability to move between animation, in-camera craft and post-production means he approaches every project as its own immersive reality, and that aligns perfectly with how we think at BURN. He's also someone who is never standing still, always pushing into new mediums, new formats, new ways of telling stories. Signing Taz represents our continued commitment to collaborating with the most forward-thinking multi-disciplinary filmmakers working today, and we're excited to see where that takes us together."

"I've always been drawn to creating worlds that sit beyond reality," shares Delix. "Spaces shaped by instinct, music and emotion as much as technique. What excites me about BURN is that we have a shared desire to challenge what an ad or activation can be and to push ideas into a more immersive, cultural territory. My background has been rooted in music videos and commercial work, but I'm increasingly interested in building experiences that blur art, film and storytelling - and this felt like the right space to expand that vision."

Looking ahead, Delix sees the partnership with BURN as an opportunity to expand further into the US market while exploring immersive and experiential work that bridges art, film and brand storytelling. Alongside his commercial output, he continues to develop independent artistic projects and installation-based experiences, translating experimental ideas into new possibilities for brands looking to connect with audiences beyond traditional advertising.
