Bob Industries welcomes director/writer/showrunner Jeremy Konner to its roster for commercial representation.
Konner’s signing brings an exciting expansion of the company’s comedic storytelling arsenal. Konner, best known as the co-creator and director of Comedy Central’s Emmy-winning, six-season hit Drunk History, boasts an extensive resume of both television and commercial work.
Credits include serving as showrunner and director for Netflix's sketch comedy series Bad Thoughts, directing Hulu's Deli Boys, and co-creating Netflix's critically acclaimed, puppet-filled children's culinary adventure Waffles + Mochi alongside Michelle Obama. On the commercial side, he’s helped build campaigns for Toyota, Honda, KFC, and ESPN, among others.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Bob and its roster of brilliant directors,” Konner said. “These people are literally some of my favorite filmmakers alive today and to have my name and work alongside them is the highest honor. I can’t wait to bring my unique voice and comedy chops to the team.” Over his career, Konner has earned a reputation for balancing irreverent yet detailed humour with high production value, a skill set that has proven successful for his career in commercial advertising.
TK Knowles, EP/Managing Partner of Bob Industries said, “We’re super excited to have Jeremy join the Bob family - he’s been on our radar a long time. On top of just being a great guy, we were attracted to Jeremy’s talents as not only a director but also as a writer and producer. He knows how to help agencies and clients ‘plus’ their work - his unique hybrid skillset makes him a natural problem solver…and he’s really funny!”
Konner's commercial signing follows his recent success directing and showrunning Bad Thoughts season two, for which he recently received an Emmy nomination. He is currently available for commercial work through Bob Industries.
