her award-winning and critically acclaimed debut film, dishes dishes dishes, is a thought-provoking comedy-drama that explores the mundanity of lockdown and the complexities of relationships through the lens of washing dishes.
Parkinson’s writing style is all about creating relatable, intimate and compelling storylines that challenge the status quo. she has a great ability to play with the audience’s emotions and her work with band the byker grove fan club is a good example of this, where they’ve created music videos that are both visually and emotionally impactful.
