The Scandinavian production company presents a historical addition to the roster and switches to a boundary-pushing new site, including a Bacon streaming platform with hundreds of spots, promos and short films that aren’t accessible anywhere else.

The largest addition of filmmakers in Bacon history sees Bonnie MacRae (GB), Elena Pettiti (IT), Jeppe Lange (DK), Martin Falck (SE) and Nalle Sjöblad (FI) joining for representation.

Alongside the talent, Bacon presents a brand-new website. The new site steers away from a classic minimalist look and into a more playful expression with an added focus on the work behind the camera, as well as the many different types of projects being made by Bacon and its attached filmmakers.

One of the new features on the site is ‘The Rabbit Hole’, a film archive of hundreds of Bacon-produced films from the founding of the company in 2001 and up until today. Visitors can find commercials, short films and music videos from both present and past directors, all produced by Bacon throughout the years.

Bonnie MacRae (GB)

An upcoming Scottish filmmaker who makes films that tackle social and mental health issues head-on in a pungently humouristic, no-nonsense manner. For example in All Up There, her razor sharp film about living with Endometriosis, and her break-out effort Mind Yersel, a BBC Studios commissioned project on a suicide epidemic amongst young men in Scotland.

Elena Pettiti (IT)

Pettiti’s films are a blend of aesthetic prowess and imaginative storytelling, which has translated into both fashion and commercial work for clients like Vogue Italia, Prada, Hennessy and Harley Davidson.

Jeppe Lange (DK)

Both as an artist and as a YDA-winning commercial director, the Danish filmmaker has an eye for both the aesthetics of the natural world and the seemingly endless possibilities and playfulness of animation and technology.

Martin Falck (SE)

A creative force who has done both creative direction and graphics for world-renowned artists like Björk and Fever Ray. The latter of which, Falck has directed an upcoming Bacon-produced music video for. As a filmmaker, Martin crafts visual concepts to create confrontational yet captivating work, often weaving in themes of underrepresentation and marginalisation.

Nalle Sjöblad (FI)

The Finnish, Cannes Lions Grand Prix-winning director’s work is a blend of striking art direction, surreal humour, creative storytelling, and meticulous attention to detail, giving each film a truly distinctive identity. That has resulted in an impressive reel of very funny films with tremendous production value, including work for clients like Burger King, Motorola, and Aldar (for whom Sjöblad’s spot starred Kevin Hart).
