Award-winning sound designer & mix engineer Jordan Stalling joins Another Country
Stalling has spent the previous six years with Comma Music, where he began as an Assistant Engineer and rose to the Sound Designer Mixer position last year.
Managing Director John Binder, Executive Producer Tim Konn and their colleagues at the acclaimed sound design studio Another Country are very proud to announce the addition of award-winning Sound Designer and Mix Engineer Jordan Stalling to their staff.
Effective immediately, Stalling joins Binder, Peter Erazmus, Drew Weir and Erik Widmark on the company's roster of A-list mixers in Chicago.
Stalling has spent the previous six years with Comma Music, where he began as an Assistant Engineer and rose to the Sound Designer Mixer position last year. Winner of "The Lev" International Grand Prize in Sound Design in the Camp Kuleshov competition in both 2016 and 2017, Stalling has distinguished himself professionally through his considerable talents spanning audio engineering and music composition.
With recent credits on campaigns for the Chicago Bulls, Cracker Barrel, Keystone Light, and WeatherTech, Stalling's original sound designs and mixes also star in Potluck Creative's "Super Hero" series of stop-motion videos for Revolution Brewing. He studied Sound Design for Film at Flashpoint Chicago after earning his B.S. in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University.
"Another Country's quality of output speaks for itself," Stalling said. "I've always admired their work, and I can't think of a better place to continue my career as part of such a talented and creative team."
"Another Country has enjoyed many first place wins since the inception of the Camp Kuleshov Awards," Binder began. "Over the past few years, Jordan took the top slot... and I've been a big admirer of his work ever since. With his strong musical sense, Jordan's intrinsic understanding of timing, rhythm and even silence sets his work apart. He's also just a good guy, and we are really excited to welcome him aboard."
"It's safe to say we all became fans of Jordan through his tastefully curated and thoughtfully designed Camp Kuleshov entries," added Konn. "He's an exceptional human who gets along with everyone and really cares about his craft. We couldn't ask for anything more."
