Production company ArtClass expands their team with award-winning husband-wife directing duo Adam Azimov and Ellen Wong, also known as Adam + Ellen, to work on artful comedy, kinetic visual storytelling and character-driven narratives.

The acclaimed pair’s work has been celebrated on top advertising shortlists and received honors at international film festivals. As creative problem solvers, they use their original perspective to elevate concepts and brands. This has led to campaigns for Adidas, Lexus, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, eBay, and Lincoln. Their ability to connect with and maximize the performances of top talent has sparked successful collaborations with some of the biggest brands in entertainment and sports.

“Adam + Ellen have a unique visual style, keen dedication to craft and passion for adventure that adds an important dynamic to our roster,” notes Rebecca Niles. “Stunning landscapes, vivid personal stories and smart visual comedy create an undeniably rich identity that we can't wait to put out into the universe.”

Wong got started in the industry when she starred in the cult classic film, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, as Knives Chau. She honed her skills under the direction of Edgar Wright, she’s gone on to further success in film and TV, including SAG Award nominations for her work on Netflix’s GLOW. Wong's experience as an actor birthed her love for directing. Her comedic timing, shorthand with actors, and experience in front of the camera give her rare expertise when it comes to working with talent.

Azimov began his career as an editor before transitioning to directing with award-winning shorts and music videos. His time in post provides him with an invaluable eye for the technical side of production, focusing on a strong cinematic approach and innovative visuals.

“The team at ArtClass is extremely supportive of us in our evolving career,” adds Adam + Ellen. “We love their honesty, and innovative approach to working with agencies and clients. They know what it takes to make creatively driven work, and they approach jobs with drive and focus. We can’t wait to set off on this journey with them.”
