Altas Acopian joins Doomsday

Joining Doomsday Entertainment is Altas Acopian, an Armenian-American director, photographer, and conceptual artist based in Los Angeles. 

Known for his wit and cinematic eye, Acopian uses cutting-edge technologies to critique popular culture, explore gender identity, and push the boundaries of visual storytelling. His pioneering use of Snapchat and later Instagram built his reputation for subverting and defying expectations of mobile video. 

A Forbes 30 Under 30, Adweek Creative 100, and Young Guns 18 honoree, Acopian has worked with clients such as Adobe, Interscope Records, Red Bull, Sports Illustrated, and W Hotels. His viral parody sites Amazon Dating and Postdates have been featured in NPR, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, VICE, Dazed and others. 

His current projects focus on his experience of transitioning. Acopian received a B.A. in Film Studies from Wesleyan University.
